Lionstripe EAP Authentication - Windows 7

Windows 7 was released in 2009, it requires a little massaging to find its way.

Navigate to:

1. Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
2. Click: Manage Wireless networks
3. Look through the list, does the network name already exist in the list. If it does remove it.
4. Click: Add
5. Select: Manually create a network profile

Next, create the profile:

1. Type network name: This is the network name
2. Select security type: WPA2-Enterprise
3. Select encryption type: AES
4. Check: Start this connection automatically
5. Click Next

The step below is only required if you are on a public network or one that does not push certificates as part of a deployment pipeline. This applies to most Co-Working space customers.

Configure Connection:

1. Click: Change connection settings
2. Select: Security Tab
3. Click: Settings
4. Uncheck: Validate server certificate
5. Select Authentication Method: EAP-MSCHAP v2 and then Click Configure
   

Under the Configure Window:

1. Uncheck: Automatically use my Windows logon on name and password
2. Click: OK
3. Click: Advanced/Additional settings
4. Select: 802.1X settings tab
5. Check: Specify authentication mode
6. Select: User  authentication
7. Click: Save Credentials
8. Enter: User credentials
9. Click: OK
10. One more click: OK
11. Close out
