Part 1: Creating the member's profile
Step 1: Log into the Lionstripe Dashboard.
Step 2: On the top right of the page, click on the add a user button .
Step 3: Type in the member's email address.
Step 4: Select the relevant property from the Select Network* dropdown menu.
Step 5: Click on the Create map button . Once the member has been added, you will be presented with a page with details about that users.
Tip: If you entered a user via email address, it is a good idea to add a quick note to identify the user. Sometimes team members use their personal account to get on the WiFi even though they belong to a company private network.
Step 6: Add the user to a package by selecting the relevant package from the Select Package* dropdown menu.
- Wireless - Member Network: Select this option for any users who need access to the internet and shared devices like printers, but do not need to be part of a company's private network.
- Company Private Wireless Networks: If the user/device needs to be part of a company's private network.
- If the company's private network is on the list, please select that network from the dropdown menu.
- If the company's private network does not yet appear in the list, add the user/device to a placeholder for example Wireless - Private network #1. Then send an email to support@lionstripe.com requesting the name to be updated to the appropriate network name.
If a user has been added to a private company network, and they would like to have both wireless and wired access to that network, their device's MAC address will also have to be added to the private company network by following the steps in Other devices (printers, access control, cameras, etc.)
Step 7: Click on the Save button . You will see a confirmation message once the user has been updated/saved.
Part 2: Sending the password
Step 1: Click on the Get Password button .
Step 2: The password has now been copied to your clipboard. The admin can enter it manually on the user's device or send it via the welcome email/Whatsapp/Slack, etc. Whatever is most convenient and secure.
Some older devices do not support username and password (EAP) authentication. These devices can be added using their MAC addresses by following the steps in the Other devices (printers, access control, cameras, etc.) section.
Guests
Short term users can get online by scanning the QR Code or entering the password manually printed below the QR Code.

Part 1: Finding the device's MAC address

Part 2: Adding the MAC address into the Dashboard:
Step 1: Log into the Lionstripe Dashboard.

Step 3: Type in the user/device's MAC address.
Step 4: Select the relevant property from the Select Network* dropdown menu.
Step 5: Click on the Create map button . Once the user/device has been added, you will be presented with a page with details about that user/device.
Step 6: Add a description for the device/user.
Tip: If you entered a mac address, please add a note to identify the type of device the mac address belongs to. Example: Security camera on the 3rd floor by the elevator.
Step 7: Add the user/device to a package by selecting the relevant package from the Select Package* dropdown menu.
- Wired networks: Select the relevant wired network if the device will be wired in (ethernet cable plugged in).
- Wired networks for CCTV, Payment systems (POS) equipment, etc.
- Wired network for resources such as printers, casting devices, etc.
- If the user/device will need wired access to a company private network, select the relevant wired option for the company private network.
- Wireless networks: Select the relevant network if the device will be connecting via Wi-Fi.
- Wireless networks for CCTV, Payment systems, etc.
- Wireless access to the Members network.
- Wireless access to a company private networks.
Step 8: Click on the Save button . You will see a confirmation message once the user has been updated/saved.
Step 9: If you added a wired device, you can now connect the device via a cable and it will be connected to the network.
If you added a wireless device, you will need get the password by following the steps in Part 3.
Part 3: Getting the password
Step 1: If you added a wireless device, the password will be visible in the Attributes section at the bottom of your page next to IPSK Key.
Step 2: View the password by ticking the checkbox to the right.
Step 3: Send this to the user so they can copy and paste it or carefully type it in on the device needing to connect to the network.
