If you have a device that should be able to see and communicate with other devices on the network, but it does not support EAP (username and password) authentication you need to find it's MAC address, add it to the network using the Lionstripe Dashboard, and then connect it to the network.
There are two ways to know if your device does not support EAP:
- When connecting to the [PROPERTY]-Residents network, your device does not ask you for a username and password, but instead just asks you for a password. In this case you have two options:
- If you need the device to be able to see and/or communicate with other devices on the network, you will have to (1) find the device's MAC address, and (2) add it to the Lionstripe Dashboard before (3) connecting it to the [PROPERTY]-General network.
- If you don't need your device to see and/or communicate with other devices on the network, you can simply add the device to the [PROPERTY]-Guest network.
- You have a printer, a streaming device like Chromecast, Apple TV or Roku, or a gaming console.
To connect any of these devices follow these steps.
