There may be some older devices that are not able to connect to the internet using email/password authentication. In most cases you can just have the member scan the QR code to easily get online. However, if the member wants the device to be part of a private network, please follow the instructions below.
Finding the Wi-Fi MAC Address for iPhone/IOS
1. On the member's device, tap on the Settings icon > Wi-Fi > Find the CoWorkSpace-General network. Do not use the Members network for this step.
2. Tap the "info" icon
Tip: If you are prompted to enter as password you did not click on the information icon. Just tap cancel and try again.
3. Find Private Wi-Fi Address and tap to turn off.
4. Once the Private Wi-Fi Address is "off" enter the WiFi Address (Mac address) in the dashboard following the steps below.

Finding the Wi-Fi MAC address for Android Devices
1. Go to Settings > Scroll down to About phone
2. Tap on Status or Hardware Information (depending on your model of phone)
3. Find Wi-Fi MAC Address
Adding the MAC address into the Dashboard:
1. Log into the Lionstripe Dashboard
2. On the lefthand panel, hover over the second icon to expand the Network AccessControl options. Then click on All Mappings.
3. Under the first option Username click on theicon.
4. Under User name:
- Type in the device mac address (just the letters/numbers do not type in the colon)
- For example, if the mac address is EC:12:A3:ED:6B please enter 12A3ED5B (not case sensitive)
5. Under Location: Select the property you are giving the user access to
6. Under Type:
- Select Wireless to provide wireless access
7. Under package,
- If the device should be part of a private company's network select MAC- Private Package Name
- For all other devices, you can select MAC- Guest
8. Click Add.
9. On the next screen, scroll down to find the "Note" box and type in a note about who owns the device so you can reference it later.
10. To get the password, scroll down to the Attributes section and find the WiFi Password for the device under IPSK Key. You can email this to the user so they can copy and paste it or carefully type it in on the device.
